Frames.

Hardtail frames make life for us painters a little less troublesome. They forego pivots, linkages & some of the things that add time to the painting process. That means their starting price is a little less!

Hardtail Frames.

Mountain bike frames are getting wild these days! With obscure angles, tight areas, & parts that need extra care; they can be a little more complex than their hardtail counterparts. Years of mechanic experience ensure that our team knows how to take care of your frame through the entire process.

Starting at $1,299

Dual Suspension Frames.

Helmets.

Smaller again than their full face friends, open face & trail helmets boast incredible venting. This increases masking time & demands some clever meticulous focus to align designs.

Starting at $899

*Helmet shown estimated at $1700

Full face helmets might be much smaller than a bike frame, but they bring their own set of challenges. Tons of venting, & often tight, sharp shapes, mean they take nearly as much work to paint as a dual suspension frame. On the bright side, the top & sides usually offer a perfect canvas for logos & custom art work!

Starting at $999

Other Stuff.

Suspension Fork Lowers.

Fork lowers are a killer addition to any custom painted frame. They really “tie the whole design together”.

Starting at $599

*Fork shown estimated at $1400

Road framesets include both frame and fork. They also require a little extra precision in prep work and finish compared to burlier MTB frames.

Starting at $1,499

*Frameset shown estimated at $2500

The Process.

Even the most basic custom paint job is a lengthy, detailed process. A perfect end result demands that each step along the journey be carried out with impeccable attention to detail & precision. The starting price for every paint job follows the process you see below. More detailed projects build upon this process, adding steps, technicality & most of all…time!

  • Planning.

The initial discussion about your ideas and inspirations. Once we have an idea, we’ll mock it up for you to review.

  • Prep.

Taking linkages apart, seal removal & general dismantling. Cleaning dirt, stickers, adhesive resedue from the item.

  • Sanding.

A crucial step in achieving a professional result. Yielding a perfectly smooth surface ready for primer.

  • Masking.

Protecting areas that wont be painted. Bearings, pivots, etc. stay raw for perfect fitment. Preserving serial numbers & QR codes.

  • Primer.

Promotes paint adhesion & ensures that the ready to be painted surface is perfectly smooth. While creating a single colour layer to paint over.

  • Painting.

The fun part. Here’s where we lay down your base colour & things start to come to life.

  • Clear Coat.

The glassy protective layer. Shielding your new paint job from oils, grease, UV & impacts.

  • Cut & Polish.

Clear coat is wet sanded with ultra fine sand paper. Followed by compounding & polishing for a perfectly smooth Glassy finish.
