Frame Paint
The Basics of Frame Paintwork
Painting bicycle frames, especially full suspension frames introduces several unique factors to the painting process. While masking helmet vents & trim is tedious, frames add pivots, welds, awkward shapes and tight tolerances to the mix. This can often increase time and complexity to the overall process. Providing some additional information when inquiring about frame paint helps us predict what the process from prep to finish will look like.
Essential information about your frame
Frame Model: What model is it? Full suspension, hardtail, or road?
Current Paint: Does it have stock paint, or is it a ready to paint frame?
Condition: Is this a brand new frame, or one that’s been ridden with wear & tear?
Assembly: Are you sending this frame built (linkage and hardware) or stripped down the frame parts only? Does it have bearings installed in the frame?
Finish: Does it have a factory glossy or matte finish?
Every frame is different, and these details help us estimate the time required to prep the frame for the painting process. A photo of your frame is always helpful, especially for used frames, as it allows us to identify any potential imperfections or damage.
Custom Paint Costs
The cost of your custom paint job reflects the complexity and technicality involved.
Entry-Level Designs: Starting at $1199+ CAD (plus applicable taxes)
Mid-Range Creations: These typically range from $1599 - $1999 CAD (plus applicable taxes), depending on the intricate details, number of colours, and specialty paints. (metallics, flakes, colour shifts, etc.)
Complex & Premium Artistry: For elaborate designs featuring multiple colors, advanced paint techniques, and extensive preparation, prices begin at $2,000 CAD. (plus applicable taxes)
Think of an entry level design as a solid colour with 3-4 basic OEM style logos. As we add in complexity with textures, more colours, layers, more graphics & other paint techniques price climb.
Helmet Paint
The Basics of Helmet Paintwork
Much like bike frames, helmets bring their own challenges to the painting process. Full face helmets can have intricate venting, trim that needs to be protected, liners and fitment systems that need to be removed properly, as well as safety foams that need to be handled with care. Trail and half lid helmets bring even more venting to the table, often with moulding techniques that are difficult and time consuming the mask off. Providing the below info will help us estimate the cost and timeline of your paintwork.
Essential information about your helmet
Model: What model is it? Is it a full-face, open-face, or another style?
Current Graphics: Does it have complex stock graphics, or is mostly blank?
Finish: Does it have a factory glossy or matte finish?
Condition: Is this a new or used helmet? If used, let us know it’s level of wear & tear.
Each helmet has its own unique characteristics, and these details help us estimate the time required to prep the helmet for paint. A photo of your helmet is always helpful, especially for used helmets, as it allows us to identify any potential imperfections or damage.

Fork Paint
The Basics of Fork Paintwork
Fork lowers aren’t nearly as complicated as frames or helmets, but they still need care. Internal areas need to be masked & the shapes can make some graphics/designs difficult to lay.
Essential information about your helmet
Model: What model is it? Suspension fork lowers, or ridgid?
Current Graphics: Does it have painted graphics, or just stickers?
Finish: Does it have a factory glossy or matte finish?
Condition: Is this a new or used fork? If used, let us know it’s level of wear & tear.
